Masters in Information Technology (M.Sc. IT)
 
 

Information Technology has contributed more than anything else in shrinking the world to a global village. It has helped in promotion of international trade, banking and many other services. In view of the growing impact of this technology on day-to-day life there is great demand for man power trained in this technology.

The M.Sc IT is a full time, 4 Semester resident programme aimed at generating skilled human resource in such prime areas as Systems Administration, Web based Technology, E-Business etc. Every student of IT programme is required to attend and pass 15 theory and 6 laboratory courses. The last semester of the programme is devoted to project work in well established private and public sector institutions which provides real-life practical training to young learners which will help them in finding suitable placements in IT industry and elsewhere and adjust to corporate working.

The final finish to the outgoing students is imparted by the professionals engaged in the coaching cell of the School. The IT trainees are trained in Personality Development, Communication skills, Oral Expression and all other traits required to enter and adjust to corporate working.

Eligibility for Admission

Bachelors' degree of 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline or any other degree recognized equivalent thereto from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (40% for candidates belonging to the Scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe categories).

Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination or those, whose result of the same is awaited, can also apply provisionally for appearing in the entrance test.
